Scaling Your Rails App Codebase with CBRA, Com Ben Langfeld

Component Based Rails Architecture is an approach to organising a Rails application into familiar building-blocks: Ruby Gems and Rails Engines. In this talk we will explain what CBRA is, what problems it solves, and how to apply it. We will examine how we applied CBRA to a large Rails app, including React and other complexities. The examples come from our direct experience using CBRA to bring order to a 700kloc Rails app with CI run times over 2 hours.
